Reflection is a necessary component when teaching any course. Please take a moment to consider these questions:

  • How will you address the course guidelines for your first online course, as opposed to your previous "live class"?

  • What is your gameplan for designing your first asynchronous discussion?.

  • How will you be able to use Bloom's Taxonomy in your future discussions?

  • What will be your role in the learning community and how do you plan to elicit feedback from your students?

  • Lastly, take some reflection time to think about your future online course and identify what qualities will make it a "learning community". Then try to identify areas that may be troublesome or difficult for you and brainstorm ways you can circumvent these issues to have a successful "learning community".
